PARADISE — One person apparently died in an mobile home fire early Friday at the Lime Saddle Estates mobile home park on the 4300 block of Pentz Road.

Firefighters reportedly responded to the fire at 4:15 a.m. and arrived to find a single wide mobile home fully engulfed in blames along with an adjacent recreation vehicle, according to an incident report from Cal Fire-Butte County. Firefighters say the fire had extended into vegetation, burning 1/10 of an acre.

According to the report, firefighters found a body in the ruins of the home.

Firefighters quickly gained control of the vegetation fire and suppressed the structure fire. Four engines responded to the scene along with one water tender and a volunteer company.
